What's the Deal with Section 2.4 of Facebook's Promotion Guidelines?

The rule specifically prohibits any promotion whose objective is "to promote any of the following product categories: gambling, tobacco, dairy, firearms, prescription drugs, or gasoline." (Bold and italics are ours.)

So dairy is right up (or down) there with gambling, tobacco and firearms? We'll let you know if we can shed any light on that odd inclusion of dairy. In the meantime, you might want to put on hold those gambling, firearms and gasoline promotions you'd been planning.
