National Vet Recruitment Plan in the Works

The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) recently released its 2010-2014 Strategic Plan. As expected, it addresses the vet shortage we've been discussing and includes ways to address the problem. In particular, the organization will "develop and launch a national recruitment plan" and advocate for increasing class sizes to help meet growing needs.
