Save The Economy—Bail Out A Vet Student

I just ran across a blog post that ties into our discussion about the lack of large-animal vets. This blogger suggests one way to boost the economy is for the U.S. to cancel all student loan debt. It's a lovely idea that would surely send more students into vet practice—especially given the student loan statistics we reported in a previous post.

Is it realistic? Will it ever happen? Probably not. But the idea is gaining support on a Facebook group named Cancel Student Loan Debt to Stimulate the Economy. It's also made headlines in the Huffington Post and U.S. News & World Report. What's your take? We'd love to hear from you.
