Stressed Out Chickens and Super Bowl Ratings


Super Bowl ads are rife with many a farm animal (and others) including Bridgestone's whale, Budweiser's Longhorn cattle and Clydesdales and Denny's stressed out chickens (not to mention Emerald Nut's dolphin people—hopefully no humans were harmed in the making of that commercial). The use of animals in Super Bowl spots, particularly those that talk, is an ever-increasing phenomenon. Here's some insight and criticism from Tom Denari of Advertising Age.
