But at the 2010 World Ag Expo, the metaphorical clouds started to lift (in actuality, the rain clouds made their annual visit to Tulare as the show opened its doors). Dairy producers and industry professionals spent the week talking about seeing a dim light at the end of the tunnel and moving ahead with a more hopeful and positive view in 2010.
The theme of looking ahead was best captured through a wide range of educational seminars focused on supply management, ag lending, feeding high-quality ingredients for peak performance, and air and water quality regulations. As producers move ahead in 2010, successfully addressing these topics will ensure profit potential is reached and the future looks brighter than yesterday.
